Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

At Antigua Acupuncture & Apothecary we understand that unanticipated events that are out of your control happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, and illness are just a few of the reasons why you might consider canceling an appointment.

Please review our policies below and respect the time of our practitioners & patients by providing advance notice for cancellations

In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, and out of consideration for our acupuncturists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. If you need to change your appointment, please let us know before, or at the time of your reminder text message from Megan.

  • If you are unable to give us the minimum 24-hours advance notice, you will be charged the following cancellation fees:

    • $20 for regular acupuncture or Gua Sha Facial visits

    • $35 for new patients, or facial acupuncture visits

    • If you are on a monthly membership plan, your visit can only be rescheduled within the monthly time frame of your membership

This charge will be either automatically deducted from the card provided at booking, or deducted from an outstanding balance of an existing treatment package purchased.

Should you arrive later than your appointment time you may have a shortened service, or you may still receive your full service if time allows, depending on the provider’s schedule.  If you arrive 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, your appointment is considered canceled by late/missed appointment/no-show.

Habitual (2 or more) late cancellations (less than 24-hours prior to appointment time) or 2 no-shows, or a combination of the two, will result in the patient being discharged at the practitioner’s discretion.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

  • Call or text Megan at (509) 385-1855

These communications will serve as proof of adequate notice and will determine whether or not a fee will be charged to your account.

We are aware that extenuating circumstances may prevent patients from making their appointments, and we do respect that. We ask that you please communicate your circumstances with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your situation. We thank you for your respect for our time and look forward to working with you!
